I started painting in 1988, studying at the Art Institute of Chicago. I had gone to a Stephen Covey workshop where a focus was ‘what is your purpose’. On a plane trip to Arizona in 1994, I was thinking about the purpose of my art and I clearly heard ‘share God’s beauty with the world’. It made total sense for I loved nature and landscapes and I have followed that path. The painting on the cover, “Beach with Grasses” was a study done in a class with Bill Davidson in 2019
